Visual kei band Kizu recently announced that they will be launching a "spin-off" of their popular "ICHIGEKI" collaboration project to ring in the New Year.
"ICHIGEKI" is a series of videos released on YouTube where Kizu vocalist LiME covers the band's songs in sessions with various guest vocalists. Past guests have included a number of well-known musicians he admires from different
genres and scenes, including members of bands such as MUCC, ROTTENGRAFFTY, Matenrou Opera and lynch., singer-songwriter Seiko Oomori, and more.
It has been revealed that the spin-off project "HANGEKI" will last for a total of four days, stretching from January 1st to 4th. An announcement is scheduled for 21:00 (JST) on each day. Details on the artists taking part or the format of the
project have not been revealed yet, but fans can keep an eye on Kizu's official Twitter account for more updates over the next few days.
In addition, Kizu will be holding a one-man titled Zantou at NHK Hall on March 26th, 2023. This will be their largest scale performance to date.
