JUNNA will release a new album on April 12th.
Dear comes as the singer celebrates the 5th anniversary of her solo debut. It will contain twelve tracks including seven new songs. Among these is the album’s title track, which will serve as the opening theme for the second season of anime
series “Ancient Magus' Bride”.
In terms of theme songs,
Dear will also feature
Umi to shinju and
Taiyo no kouro from “Fena: Pirate Princess”, both composed by
Yuki Kajiura;
Kaze no oto sae kikoenai from “Sabikui Bisco”, composed by
R·O·N of
STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION; and
Aimaina futari, produced for the live-action drama “Kojinsa arimasu”.
The Limited Edition will contain two additional bonus tracks:
Aimaina futari's B-side
Kakumeika no Melody (composed by
THE BACK HORN guitarist
Eijun Suganami) and
the route of the sun, an English-language version of
Taiyo no kouro.
It will further contain a Blu-ray featuring MVs for
Dear and
Kaze no oto sae kikoenai, as well as live footage from
JUNNA ROCK YOU TOUR 2021 ~My 20th Summer~, filmed at Zepp Haneda on September 19th 2021.
