YUKI, the drummer of visual metal band
Versailles, has announced he will take a break from band activities, beginning in 2024.
Back in February 2020,
YUKI first revealed he had been diagnosed with chronic dystonia - a disorder impacting muscle movement - in his right foot. His decision follows years of various treatments and experimenting with different drumming styles to manage the condition.
YUKI was emphatic that this wouldn’t mark the end of his time in
Versailles, promising he would ultimately return after his sabbatical. He will see out his commitments with the band in 2023, including the seven-date
Versailles Live Tour "Varoque" 2023 in May and June.
