ShowMinorSavage, a unit consisting of singer-songwriter Aile The Shota and BE:FIRST members SOTA and MANATO, released its debut EP today.
The members of ShowMinorSavage first met during BMSG’s boy group audition show “THE FIRST”, and they quickly hit it off due to their similar musical roots and stance on music. The group’s name expresses their desire to “Savagely flaunt music that
is still ‘Minor’ in Japan on the major scene”.
The self-titled EP contains three songs: SUPER ICY, Thinkin' bout you and No Cap Navy.
SUPER ICY is a brand new song produced by Chaki Zulu. It is said to be a mellow and danceable track that allows the members to highlight their individual styles and talents. Produced by TRILL DYNASTY, the hip-hop love song Thinkin' bout you was first unveiled during their surprise appearance at BMSG FES’22 last year. No Cap Navy is a song the members wrote, produced
and choreographed themselves as part of a challenge for “THE FIRST”, using samples from SKY-HI's song Nanairo Holiday.
