MAZZEL, the second boy group from SKY-HI's management company/record label BMSG, released its pre-debut single MISSION digitally worldwide on March 31st.
Produced by SOURCEKEY, with music and lyrics from SKY-HI, the song was written to serve as the theme of “MISSION×2”, a YouTube video series that documented the selection process for the group’s members and their growth on the road
to their debut. It was originally performed by SKY-HI and released on his 2022 album THE DEBUT.
The MAZZEL version of the song has been chosen as the theme for the Japanese release version of the movie "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves". This version of the track was released under a new label BMSG formed in partnership
with UNIVERSAL MUSIC called “BE-U”, which MAZZEL is the first artist to join.

MAZZEL will release their official debut single Vivid on May 17th.
First announced by SKY-HI during the "BMSG Press Conference" held on November 22, 2022, MAZZEL consists of eight members. Its line-up includes three
trainees that BMSG recruited early on: RAN, one of the top 10 finalists from the BMSG audition “THE FIRST”, KAIRYU, who also participated in "THE FIRST" but was eliminated in the third round, and SEITO, a former member of a dance-vocal
group that SKY-HI met before even starting BMSG who was not able to participate in the audition because he was attached to another company at the time. The other five members, NAOYA, RYUKI, TAKUTO, HAYATO and EIKI, were selected after
BMSG put out a call for new trainees. The selection process was shared with the public via an English-subtitled documentary series called “MISSION×2” that was uploaded to BMSG’s YouTube channel in weekly installments beginning this January. A playlist
featuring all of the episodes is available here.
A music video for MISSION, featuring choreography from shoji of s**t kingz, can be viewed below, followed by the first episode of “MISSION×2” and footage of RAN, KAIRYU and SEITO performing
