Anisong unit MYTH & ROID will release their first concept mini-album on October 25th.
As the title MYTH & ROID Concept mini album 〈Episode 1〉『AZUL』 suggests, this will mark the first installment of a concept mini-album series.
AZUL will include five songs and one recitation track, although the specific tracklist has not been unveiled just yet. The mini-album follows the release of their 11th single Endless Embrace, which hit stores in August 2022. The second episode will follow sometime in 2024. Further details
on the release will be announced a a later date.
MYTH & ROID was founded by producer and guitarist Tom-H@ck, vocalist Mayu and lyricist and story planner hotaru in 2015. Following the departure of Mayu in November 2017, songstress KIHOW took over her position.
MYTH & ROID are known for the opening and ending songs for anime series like “OVERLORD”, “Made in Abyss” and “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-”.
In July, MYTH & ROID performed two live shows at German convention
Anime Messe Babelsberg 2023. To support the new mini-album, they will embark on a tour titled MYTH & ROID One Man Live 2023 Autumn Tour “AZUL”. The tour will begin with a show at Nagoya Spade Box on September 29th and end at Spotify O-WEST
on November 12th.
