New Album from MASAKI

Ex-ANIMETAL bassist MASAKI will release a new solo album on October 4th.

BASSTARIAN will contain eleven tracks, including two songs, MAGENTA and HANABIE, featuring vocals by ex-Raphael and rice frontman Yuki Sakurai.

BASSTARIAN's other tracks will feature a series of ‘bass battles’, pitting MASAKI against guest bassists such as Kari BAND's BOH, Seikima-II's Shunsuke Ishikawa, and THE BACK HORN's Kohshu Okamine.

TRIX's Mitsuru Sutoh, BULL ZEICHEN 88's IKUO, Isamu Takita, 9mm Parabellum Bullet's Kazuhiko Nakamura, and Suspended 4th's Hiromu Fukuda round out the list of MASAKI's opponents.

In addition to Sakurai and these eight bassists, a further eighteen guests — four drummers, four keyboardists and ten guitarists — perform on the album. The latter cohort include GALNERYUS' SYU (on MAGENTA), soLi's ISAO, and SADS' K-A-Z.
