New Digital Single from TAIKI

BMSG trainee TAIKI released a new digital single on September 6th.

KARATE KID is described as a “hard-hitting rap tune with a complementing drum beat and a minimal melody”. As TAIKI holds a black belt in karate, the song is said to "[express] the spirit of pursuit through his sincerity and polished rap skills as a real KARATE KID”.

The single was produced by Bankroll Got It, an LA-based producer trio that has produced tracks for artists such as Lil Gotit, Latto, and Megan Thee Stallion.

A teen rapper, TAIKI has been active on the freestyle battle circuit from a young age. He participated in rapper SKY-HI's management company/label BMSG’s boy group audition show “THE FIRST” in 2021 at the age of 13, demonstrating not just his rapping and songwriting ability, but also his dance skills. While he was not chosen to become part of BE:FIRST, the boy group formed from the audition, in 2022, his enrollment as an artist trainee at BMSG was officially unveiled. As a trainee, he has been featured on releases from other BMSG artists, released a few original songs himself, and performed at a number of events, including SKY-HI’s ARENA TOUR 2023 ー BOSSDOMー this June.
