On September 15th, vocalist Mirai (aka ex-LUCIFER frontman Mika)'s solo project MISSREAD, which he had dubbed a “proto device”, played its final one-man liveComplete device “MISSREAD”.
Today, it was announced that Mirai and the support members from MISSREAD will be starting up activities as a new visual kei band called KIRA. In addition to Mirai, the line-up features ex-LUCIFER members Ryoga and Yori,
on guitar and bass respectively, and drummer Taro.
The band will officially kick off its activities with a sponsored event at Ikebukuro EDGE called NIRVANA on November 26th. Other artists performing at the show will include 3470.man, Vivarush, Byou, KAKUMAY and Z CLEAR.
To help spead the word about their debut, KIRA have started a repost campaign on X (Twitter). If they reach 300 reposts of this post, they will unveil a music video for a song called Satellite.
