"HYPE UP", the latest single from LIL LEAGUE, a dance-vocal group featuring members with an average age of 16, is out on digital platforms worldwide now.
LIL LEAGUE, a dance-vocal group featuring members with an average age of 16, released a new digital single on October 18th.
HYPE UP is said to be based on a Brazilian baile funk sound, with lyrics written around a carnival theme. The group unveiled the song for the first time this summer when they performed it on stage during their domestic hall tour LIL LEAGUE LIVE TOUR 2023 “LIL GATEWAY”.
They also performed it at this summer’s Mezamashi Live, a festival in Tokyo held by Fuji TV. The choreography features a different dance for each chorus, and it was devised by the members themselves.

of 48,000 entrants, the members of LIL LEAGUE were among 19 finalists in the men’s category. The finalists were divided into three groups for the finals at Nippon Budokan, where the members of LIL LEAGUE won the Grand Prix. The name LIL LEAGUE was chosen
to represent the group’s hope that their youthful energy and momentum will create a unique new vibe.
The group made their major label debut on January 11th this year, with the release of their single Hunter.
