Composer Yuki Kajiura will release two new compilations on December 6th.

As its title suggests, 30th Anniversary Early BEST Collection for Soundtrack is being released by FlyingDog in honour of Kajiura's 30 years in music, which began in 1993 with pop trio-turned-duo See-Saw.

The triple-disc collection contains 71 tracks of incidental music from anime series and films in the 2000s, such as “NOIR”, “.hack//SIGN”, “MADLAX”, “Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE-” and so on.

On the same day, Sony Music will release The Works for Soundtrack II. Coming 13 years on from the first installment, this compilation will contain over 100 compositions of Kajiura's from assorted live-action films, TV dramas, documentaries and other media, also spread over three discs.

Notably, it will feature a hitherto-unreleased version of the theme song for 2016 Chinese film “LORD” sung by Joelle, and Kaze yo, fuke, Kajiura's new collaboration (as FictionJunction) with singer-songwriter KOKIA, three months in advance of its tie-up film “Kazeyo arashi yo”.
