Rapper SKY-HI and singer Nissy, who are well known both as members of pop unit AAA and as solo artists, released a collaboration single digitally worldwide on December 4th.
Titled SUPER IDOL, the song was released to commemorate both the 10th anniversary of SKY-HI's major debut and the 10th anniversary of Nissy's activities as a solo artist. The song was co-produced by SKY-HI,
Nissy, and three names from the creative team INIMI: MONJOE, LOAR, and SUNNY. It pairs SKY-HI’s hip-hop beats with Nissy’s dynamic vocals,
with lyrics said to "[explore] the life of idols with cynical and aggressive expressions, demolishing old values to usher in a new era of 'idol' music”.

SUPER IDOL was unveiled for the first time as a surprise during D.U.N.K. Showcase,
a two-day dance and music festival held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on December 2nd and 3rd. This was the second showcase from D.U.N.K., a project that SKY-HI started up at the beginning of 2023 to help break down barriers between dance-vocal acts from different labels and management groups.
