Rapper Yvng Patra released a new digital single on December 13th.
Marmot is his first release on Mary Joy Recordings, an independent label that has been home to artists such as LEX and Yurufuwa Gang. The song is said to have a drill sound, with lyrics expressing Yvng Patra's determination
to advance to a new phase. It was produced by KBEATS and mixed by ashtrayy.

Born in 2002 and hailing from the Niigata prefecture, Yvng Patra has begun to draw attention recently after the viral success of
Tier 1, a song from his February album 20, and his performance at the popular hip-hop festival POP YOURS this May.
