Singer-songwriter HANCE released his second album on December 13th.
BLACK WINE comes about two and a half years after his debut album, and it’s said to be themed around “cinematic music of the adults, for the adults, by the adults,” offering listeners “a dramatic and grandiose journey akin to the immersive soundtrack
of a fictional epic”. Its 12 songs are said to pull influences from genres such as R&B, rock, jazz and Latin music.

HANCE commented:
“I envisioned BLACK WINE as an omnibus of short films. I would like to invite listeners to immerse themselves in its diverse narrative landscapes.”
HANCE entered the music scene in his 40s while managing his own business at the same time. Operating independently without belonging to any management or label, he assembled a diverse team of creators across various fields to
launch his project. He debuted in September 2020 with The Night and the Lie, aiming to craft music tailored for adult audiences. The accompanying music video, filmed in Valencia, Spain, amassed over one million views on YouTube within three months.
He released his first album, between the night, in May 2021.
The music video for the lead track from BLACK WINE, Monochrome Sky, can be viewed below. It was filmed amidst the historic locales of Zurich and Basel, Switzerland. The song is said to “depict the stark reality of our world,
where division and conflict prevail across countries, races, and genders”.
