Pop singer Hikaru Utada will release a new digital single on February 12th.
Naniirodemonai Hana is described as a mid-tempo piano ballad. Following the digital release, it will also be featured on their first greatest hits album, SCIENCE FICTION, which is scheduled to hit stores later this year to commemorate
the 25th anniversary of the singer's major debut.
Naniirodemonai Hana serves as the theme song for the TV series “The Gift of Your Heart” (“Kimi ga Kokoro wo Kureta kara”), which premiered on January 8th.
Utada commented:
“It’s been a long time since I wrote such a candid love song, I hope it reaches anyone who feels afraid to believe in something.”
In addition, Utada will be embarking on a nationwide tour in support of SCIENCE FICTION later this year. Details are still to be announced, but fans can keep an eye on this special site for
