Rock band yourness released a new mini-album on February 7th.
VII (“seven”) contains seven tracks said to delve into “the profound depths of existence, encapsulating themes of life and time through a dark, evocative sonic landscape”.
It includes yourness's first English-language song, a couple of times, which was created in collaboration with their friend RINO, who translated the lyrics and provided chorus vocals. She also contributed vocals to ECG and
the mini-album’s lead single, Capacity of Life, adding a new dimension to the band's sound.
Capacity of Life is said to offer “a poignant exploration of the human experience”, highlighting frontman YujiKurosawa's strong voice and emotive falsetto.
