Currently celebrating their 10th anniversary, rock band I Don’t Like Mondays. released a new digital single titled Lonely Dancers on June 26th.
The new song combines a band sound with electronic beats, resulting in "a dance-pop tune with a dark, mysterious sound and an exciting kinetic energy." The song takes a different approach from their previous release, New York, New York, which
had more of a full-on UK rock-inspired band sound.
For the first time in quite a while, the accompanying music video features all four members of the band, as they giving performances in a minimalist space. The video was directed by OFBYFOR TOKYO, a collective that has worked on several
I Don’t Like Mondays. projects over the past year.

As part of their 10th anniversary celebrations, in late April, I Don’t Like Mondays. completed their headlining Island Tour, with shows in 13 cities around Japan within just one month. Next, in fall 2024, they will perform in
eight cities across Japan, as well as embark on their first ever tour of Asia.
