Bi-ray, a new girl group produced by X JAPAN drummer YOSHIKI, gave their debut performance on NTV's "THE MUSIC DAY" on July 6th.
The four-member, four-octave group performed a short version of their upcoming single Butterfly, which is scheduled for release this fall. The song is performed entirely in English.
The group's members, Cocomi, Emi, Michelle and Hinata, all competed in Nippon TV's "Utaou Championship", where YOSHIKI served as a special judge.
YOSHIKI commented on Bi-ray's readiness for their debut:
"While recording, I felt once again that everyone's vocal power is truly unique. I believe all of them can spread their wings globally as vocalists."
