Two New Digital Singles from MIKADO

Rapper MIKADO recently released two new digital singles.

The first, Tears, hit streaming platforms on July 10th. The track was produced by Lion Melo, and a video showing MIKADO and his friends in his hometown of Wakayama was also unveiled on YouTube on the same date.

The second, Drugbaby2 (PURE) was released on digital platforms on July 17th.

Earlier this year, MIKADO was one of 40 contestants chosen to progress to the SELECTION CYPHER stage of ABEMA's hip-hop audition show "RAPSTAR 2024," and he also received a bonus profile video after he was eliminated that is available exclusively for ABEMA premium users. Coincidentally, the winner of "RAPSTAR 2024," Kohjiya, also appeared alongside female MC 7 on a remix of MIKADO's song Yutta!! that was released in June.

In addition, MIKADO was recently chosen to take part in Red Bull's popular cypher series "RASEN." He performed alongside three other former "RAPSTAR" contestants to a beat from producer Homunculu$. MIKADO chose to use the beat Homunculu$ provided for the application video stage of "RAPSTAR 2024," which is referenced at the start of his "RASEN" performance. His application video was revealed on X during the first stage of the competition.
