GLAY Release "Grendizer U" Opening Theme

Pop-rock band GLAY released a new digital single on July 31st.

Kaishin no ichigeki is the opening theme of the anime series "Grendizer U," which is a new revival of the series "UFO Robot Grendizer," originally created by author Go Nagai. This new adaptation boasts Mitsuo Fukuda ("Mobile Suit Gundam SEED") as its chief director, Ichiro Okouchi ("CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion") as the series composer and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto ("Neon Genesis Evangelion") as its character designer.

The jacket artwork for Kaishin no ichigeki was created by the “Grendizer U” animation team, and it's said to capture the essence of the song.
