Rapper edhiii boi released a new digital single on August 21st.
Titled Hanabi, the song features a guest appearance from SHU, a 17 year-old singer who is his kouhai at the high school he is currently attending. edhiii boi extended an offer to her after he heard her singing voice in the hallway one day.
The song is said to feature realistic lyrics about feelings of love the two artists wrote together. The track was produced by Kosuke Crane (INIMI), and it's based primarily around a melancholic guitar riff.

This release comes just over a month after another digital single linked to his school days, Natsu yasumi feat. School Boi. Natsu yasumi samples a song he created for a school project in 2017 under the name School Boi when
he was 10 years old. The track was produced by SOURCEKEY, a unit consisting of SKY-HI and engineer/trackmaker SHIMI from BUZZER BEATS.
The music video for Natsu yasumi combines edhiii boi's past and present, mixing together footage of him performing as a child, his appearance on BMSG's boy group audition show "THE FIRST" when he was 13, and his current activities as a solo artist with BMSG.
