It was announced today that rock band PENPALS' popular opening theme for the first anime adaptation of "Berserk," TELL ME WHY, is now available on streaming services worldwide.
Originally released in 1997, TELL ME WHY has been a beloved track among fans of the franchise for decades. The track was previously only available in a "TV-size" version on select streaming platforms, but the full version is now available
on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music and other major streaming services worldwide.

PENPALS vocalist and guitarist Moriya Kamijo commented:
"We were happy just making music without thinking about anything else back then, but those days are long gone. It's amazing that VAP, who recorded our adult youth, is now offering not only the music from that time but also the videos. Thank you.

Formed in 1996 by twin brothers Kinya and Moriya Kamijo along with Munemasa Hayashi, PENPALS made its major label debut in 1997. After disbanding in 2005, the band reunited in
2022 and released a new album, CAARRS, that year. Their latest album, 1973, was released in 2023.
