Voice actress Yuki Tanaka will release her debut solo album on October 2nd.
Crier will contain 10 tracks, including Familiar, her ending theme song for the second season of the anime series "As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World," which will premiere on September 29th at
11:30pm (JST).
The anime is based on the light novel "As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World: I Inherited a Weak Territory, and If I Increase the Number of Capable Personnel, It Will Become the Strongest Territory," written
by Miraijin A. It’s an account of the main character, Ars Louvent, who is reincarnated in another world. He possesses a unique skill, “Appraisal,” which allows him to discern the stats and abilities of others. Putting this skill to good
use, he finds individuals with hidden potential and transforms a weak territory into the strongest. The novel has racked up over 100 million page views on the novel self-publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou. Tanaka will also be joining the cast
of the anime, taking on the role of a new character appearing in the second season, Selena Bandol.
Familiar will be released digitally worldwide on September 30th.
Also included on the album will be the songs
Crier and KURAGET DOWN, which have already been released on streaming platforms.
The album will be available in three physical editions. The regular edition will feature just a single CD, while the limited edition will add a bonus
second disc with instrumental versions of all of the songs and an M-Card that allows fans to listen to behind-the-scenes stories of the music’s production. The third edition will be available exclusively from Animate and A-on STORE.
It will have the same contents as the limited edition, but add a penlight with the artist’s favorite shade of green as its base color, which also emits 10 different colors chosen by Tanaka to represent the album’s songs.
Tanaka will also be holding her first solo concert at Hulic Hall Tokyo on January 11th, 2025.
Yuki Tanaka made her voice acting debut in 2017 as Kaede Tatsunokuchi in the animated film "Your Voice -KIMIKOE-." Her other well-known roles include Asahi Serizawa in the video game "The Idolmaster:
Shiny Colors," and Olive Stone in the Japanese dub of the American TV series "Manifest." She will also be voicing the character Rinrin Takahashi in the anime adaptation of "Trillion Game" that is slated to air this October.
