SKY-HI's management company/label BMSG will be holding its annual festival BMSG FES at Kanagawa K Arena Yokohama from September 21st to 23rd this year.
BMSG FES features performances from all of the artists on the company's roster, as well as a number of special collaborations between them. In line with the latter, three special teams were formed from BMSG's 23 artists to record original theme songs for this year's event:
BMSG
MARINE, BMSG SKY and BMSG GAIA. Each team's song was produced by its leader.
BMSG MARINE, led by singer-songwriter Aile The Shota, features LEO from BE:FIRST, KAIRYU, TAKUTO and HAYATO from MAZZEL, rapper edhiii boi and trainee KANON. Aile The Shota co-produced
their song Memoria with MONJOE, LOAR and Hiromu and wrote the lyrics together with LEO.
BMSG SKY, led by SKY-HI himself, features BE:FIRST members MANATO and RYUHEI,
MAZZEL members NAOYA, SEITO and RYUKI, solo singer REIKO and trainee RUI. SKY-HI co-produced their song Swan's War with Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai, and they also penned the lyrics along with Daisuke Nakamura,
MANATO, RYUHEI and REIKO.
BMSG GAIA, led by rapper Novel Core, features SOTA, SHUNTO, JUNON and RYOKI from BE:FIRST, RAN and EIKI from MAZZEL and trainee TAIKI. Novel Core co-produced
their song with Chaki Zulu. They wrote the music together with TAIKI and sty, while the lyrics were penned by Novel Core, Chaki Zulu, TAIKI and JUNON.
Videos for all three songs have also been unveiled on YouTube. The MVs were all filmed at BMSG's new office.
