Tak Matsumoto Group's "TMG II" to Get Overseas Physical Release

Rock band Tak Matsumoto Group's latest album TMG II will be released overseas on CD on December 6th, courtesy of Italian label Frontiers Music.

The album is the first new release from the trio in twenty years. Its eleven tracks include The Story of Love — an English-language duet between vocalist Eric Martin and anison singer LiSA — and Eternal Flames, featuring backing vocals by BABYMETAL.

Matsumoto commented: "I was able to create a truly exciting and convincing piece of work with my wonderful band members."

Elsewhere, the B'z guitarist recently collaborated with LiSA on a cover of Ann Lewis's 1984 hit Roppongi Shinju for his cover album THE HIT PARADE II. He guested on BABYMETAL's DA DA DANCE in 2019.

TMG II was released domestically and digitally on September 18th.
