New Single from Kohana Lam

Singer Kohana Lam released a new single on November 15th.

Have a Good Game!! is said to be Kohana Lam’s first step into a wider musical world, as it includes a rap section for the very first time. The song is about leveling up in life, drawing on motifs based on her hobby of playing video games. The lyrics and music were written by SAKURAmoti, a rising musician who previously collaborated with Minami from MAISONdes on the song aiue, a song that was used as the opening theme for the anime series "Urusei Yatsura," and which has surpassed 18 million views on YouTube.

Kohana Lam has a YouTube channel with over 650,000 subscribers. She held a solo birthday concert at Tokyo venue Zepp Shinjuku in October, and gave her first overseas live performance in November.

On November 8th, the third anniversary of her major-label debut, Kohana Lam revamped her illustrated profile icon, which she had been using for around four years. In a special YouTube live stream commemorating her anniversary, she explained that the poppy, cute new avatar was a declaration of her determination to take on a wider range of music genres.
