Japan's most popular and best-selling rock duo
B'z will be added to Hollywood's
Rock Walk. Contrary to the Walk of Fame, bands are not nominated by the public but by past honorees, in this case, the duo's friend
Steve Vai.
B'z, having sold over 75 million records and being regulars at the top of the charts will be the first Asian band to be added to the Rock Walk, the induction ceremony, taking place on November 19th, will bring the band to the same level as such legends as
AC/DC,
Elvis Presley,
KISS, and
The Ramones, to name a few.
Along with their previously announced upcoming single,
SUPER LOVE SONG, scheduled for release on October 3rd,
B'z is also releasing a new album soon.
ACTION goes on sale on December 5th and will contain seventeen tracks and be available in both a regular and limited edition with DVD. To promote the album's release,
Tak and
Koshi will start their
LIVE-GYM 2008 "ACTION" tour in January. The tour will take them all over Japan before they play six dates,
LIVE-GYM -PLEASURE 2008-, in September in celebration of the band's 20th anniversary!
There's only one thing left to say: Congratulations!
