Hotei, Kreva and Kameda Form The THREE

The THREE, a group featuring Kameda Seiji, producer and bassist of Tokyo Jihen, Hotei Tomoyasu, one of Japan's leading guitarists and KREVA, popular hip-hop artist, have announced their plans for a currently untitled single due for release on May 7th.

The title track, which will be a blend of rock and hip-hop influences, will be used as the theme for "Kakushi toride no san akunin: THE LAST PRINCESS", a film directed by Higuchi Shinji. The film is to be the 2008 remake of the 1958 movie "The Hidden Fortress" by Kurosawa Akira and will feature the talents of Matsumoto Jun, Nagasawa Masami and Abe Hiroshi in the leading roles.

The single, which will go on sale three days before the film opens in cinemas on the 10th, will also be released as a separate "spin-off Hotei" version and will be distributed digitally.
