Hirakawachi Icchome to Disband

Folk duo Hirakawachi Icchome has announced that following the conclusion of their final tour, on August 23rd, they will disband. The brothers have stated that they have been considering ending activities for over a year and continuing on their separate ways.

The duo will also release a final single, Tokyo 2008, and a best-of album on July 30th.
