In the coming weeks in March, Japanese artists
Natccu and
Bo-Peep will be touring across the United States, in each artist's debut tour, and in collaboration with South By Southwest (SXSW). The events also mark the inaugural concerts by "It Came From Japan" in the United States; the agency, based in Tokyo, specializes in bringing Japanese rock acts to the UK
Natccu will bring her "curious blend of gritty rock, melodic pop and Eastern sensibility," while
Bo-Peep, a three-girl unit, will inflame their shows with a hard punk rock sound.
Both artists will also perform live on Blaze TV/DirecTV (
Natccu on March 20th and
Bo-Peep on March 21st) at times yet to be confirmed. Extra live shows for both
Natccu and
Bo-Peep may soon be announced, so keep an eye on their websites for info. Both artists also appear on the Japan Nite CD and It Came From Japan CD given out free at SXSW.
A full list of dates can be found at the MySpace pages of
Natccu and
Bo-Peep respectively.
