Pop Releases: Nakashima Mika, SPEED & 80kidz

Nakashima Mika will release her first single of 2009 on May 13th, titled Over Load. The single is described as an upbeat song with strong lyrics and will be produced by Kazuto Okawa, known for his work with PISTOL VALVE, YUKI and flumpool. The coupling song, tentatively titled ANSWER, will be arranged by Yoshito Tanaka. The single's first press will contain a picture-labeled disc.

After returning last year with the release of the single Ashita no sora, the pop group SPEED has announced the release of their next single for May 27th. S.P.D, meaning "Splendid POP Dance", will be released in two different versions. The limited edition version of the single will include a DVD contaning the PV for the title-track, plus off-shot footage. The first press will also come with an official poster.

Known for their remixes for artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki, SHERBETS, NIRGILIS and 8otto, electro trio 80kidz announced the release of their debut album for April 15th. Although further details are currently unknown, the album will be titled THIS IS MY SHIT and will include a total of 15 tracks.
