New Pop Releases: YU-A, Superfly, Ai Kawashima and PENGIN

Foxxi misQ singer YU-A will release her first solo single on April 22nd titled Aitai.... The song, which will serve as the ending theme to Yomiuri TV's "Downtown DX", was produced by 3rd Productions known for working with Miliyah Kato, Aoyama Thelma and Shota Shimizu. The limited edition will include a bonus DVD with the PV for Aitai... and its making of.

Superfly revealed more information about her upcoming single, set to come out on May 13rd. Best Of My Life will now be titled My Best Of My Life and will feature three songs, including the title-track, which will be used as tie-up song of the Fuji TV drama "BOSS", Welcome To The Rockin' Show and a cover of Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo by American guitarist Rick Derringer.

Female singer Ai Kawashima announced the release of her fourth original album for June 3rd. Simple Treasure will feature her most recent singles Door Crawl, Kakera, lover and Daijoubu da yo. The album will be available in two versions, the limited which will also contain a DVD featuring a documentary.

Pop/urban trio PENGIN announced the release of their third major single for June 10th. Asa ANSWER will be used as the ending theme song for the anime "Gintama" from April to June and will also feature an acoustic version of their latest single, Haru Haru Haru.
