Following the announcement of the scandal involving guitarist
Alex and consequently the cancellation of all
ONE OK ROCK activities, the band recently revealed through their official website that
Alex is officially no longer a part of the band.
After discussions regarding the future of the band, the four remaining members,
Taka (vocals),
Toru (guitar, vocals),
Ryota (bass) and
Tomoya (drums), decided that
Alex's departure would be the best thing to do to keep the band alive. From now on,
ONE OK ROCK will continue as a four-piece group.
Although there is not yet any new information regarding their concert schedule or the release of the single
Around The world Shounen, which was set to come out in early May and has had its release cancelled,
ONE OK ROCK stated that they hope to reactivate their activities by the summer. Messages in Japanese from the four members of the band can be read on their
