Hitoto Yo Single

Pop singer Hitoto Yo has scheduled the release of her first single in over a year and a half, titled Your Medicine~watashi ga anata no kusuri ni natte ageru, for October 7th.

Hitoto Yo, born in Taiwan, is most known for her breakthrough debut single Morai naki, released in 2002. With a minimalistic and relaxing pop sound, she is often compared to male R&B singer Ken Hirai, as their voices have a very similar tone. Her last original release, the album Key, came out back in March 2008, followed by a deluxe edition of her 2006 best-of compilation BESTYO in January this year.

This single will be Yo's first release after switching recording labels, from Columbia Entertainment to FOR LIFE MUSIC, which holds other artists like DOUBLE, Hi-Fi CAMP and UNDER GRAPH. Besides the title track, the single will also feature two other songs, Hoozuki and Hakuchuumu, and its limited edition will include a poetry reading track called prologue1.
