Hip-hop singer
SEAMO announced the release of his first best-of album, simply titled
Best of SEAMO, for October 7th.
SEAMO started his career as a solo artist in 2005, with the release of his debut single
Kanpaku. However, it was only in the next year that he received a good amount of attention, as he performed in the popular annual event
Kouhaku Utagassen and released his breakthrough single
Mata aimashou. The compilation will span all four years of his career, including several other hit songs, such as
Lupin The Fire,
CryBaby,
Mother and
Continue, plus collaborations with singers
AYUSE KOZUE,
AZU and Korean idol
BoA, with a total of 16 tracks.
Best of SEAMO will be available to purchase in three different editions. Besides the regular CD-only type, there will also be two CD+DVD limited versions, one featuring the music videos of all his singles and the other one contaning full footage from his concert at Yoyogi Daiichi Taiikukan on March 17th this year, part of his most recent tour
SCRAP & BUILD. Lastly, samples for all of the album's the songs, as well as for three music videos, are already accessible via his
official website.
