THE BAWDIES' Second Major Single

Rock band THE BAWDIES have set the release of their second major single, HOT DOG, for March 17th, featuring a cover of the song ROCKS, from Scottish alternative rock band Primal Scream, as its b-side.

The band is currently working on their second major album, which is currently planned to be released in April. As for the single, HOT DOG is a straight-forward rock tune that features the characteristic rough and wild vocals from ROY.

The limited edition of the single will come with an additional DVD with approximately 60 minutes of general footage from the band since their major debut, making it a must-see video for fans. It will include member interviews and scenes from the recording of the group's upcoming album, as well as live footage from THE BAWDIES's 2008 Australian tour and from their performance at LIQUIDROOM ebisu last year, part of the tour THE BAWDIES ONE MAN TOUR 2009.

Lastly, THE BAWDIES is also putting out a split release with American band LOCKSLEY to celebrate their two-man tour that is being held in March. THE BAWDIES×LOCKSLEY, as it is called, is a 7-inch analog disc that features one song by each band, respectively HOT DOG and THE WHIP.
