New York Anime Festival Guests: Kanon and Rika Ishikawa

Along with previously announced guests VAMPS and PUFFY AMIYUMI, it has been announced that An Cafe's Kanon and Rika Ishikawa (ANGRY of HANGRY&ANGRY) will appear at New York Anime Festival 2010.

The New York Anime Festival, an anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture convention, will take place October 8th-10th at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan. It is created by and co-located with the New York Comic Con.

On October 9th, Kanon will speak to fans about his band, visual kei and his new game "Pinky Distortion", where players can act as manager for a virtual visual kei band. This will take place from 6:30-7:30pm.

Rika Ishikawa will make four appearances at the festival, starting with an autograph session on October 8th from 5:30-6:30pm at the Kinokuniya booth. A second autograph session will take place the next day from 4-5pm, but be aware that autograph times are subject to change, so please visit the Kinokuniya booth on the day for further information. Also on October 9th, Rika will appear in a fashion show and will take part in a discussion about the HANGRY&ANGRY fashion line with HANGRY&ANGRY character designer Gashicon. This will take place from 11am-12:30pm and will be followed by a "Rika "ANGRY" Ishikawa Spotlight" from 1:30-2:30pm.
