Ikimono-gakari Hiatus

During an interview on the morning radio show of Nippon Broadcasting System, Ikimono-gakari announced that they will take a break from activities in 2011.

After more than 10 years of activity and a busy 2010, the band will hold their last performance before the hiatus on New Year’s Eve for the annual music show “Kōhaku Uta Gassen” on NHK.

Although the length of their hiatus has not yet been officially confirmed, sources close to the band have suggested that Ikimono-gakari will most likely return in July 2011.
