L'Arc~en~Ciel Best-of Albums, DVD and Stadium Concerts

Rock/Pop band L'Arc~en~Ciel have announced the upcoming release of three best-of albums for February 16th and a DVD boxset for March 30th.

L'Arc~en~Ciel have gained worldwide acclaim since their formation in 1991 and have toured in North America, Europe and Asia. The group, who have recently been pursuing solo activities, will celebrate their 20th anniversary in the coming months. L'Arc~en~Ciel started off 2011 with the performance L'A HAPPY NEW YEAR! at the Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex on January 1st.

The albums, titled TWENITY 1991-1996, TWENITY 1997-1999 and TWENITY 2000-2010 respectively, will include remastered hits from across their career. The albums with also be released in a boxset on March 9th which will include the aforementioned albums, plus a DVD featuring 20th Anniversary Special Digest footage. The boxset will come in special packaging and will also include a deluxe booklet plus an orgel version track randomly selected from flower, anata, New World or MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM.

L'Arc~en~Ciel will then release the DVD boxset FIVE LIVE ARCHIVES 2 on March 30th. The boxset will boast five DVDs including 1997 REINCARNATION, 1999 GRANDCROSS TOUR, AWAKE TOUR 2005, Are you ready? 2007 Mata Heart ni hi wo tsukero! and TOUR 2008 L'7~Trans ASIA via PARIS~.

Finally, in May, the group will hold their special 20th L'Anniversary Live over two days in May at the 50,000 capacity, Ajinomoto Stadium.
