HORIPRO Talent Auditions in Los Angeles

Japanese talent agency HORIPRO are holding open auditions in Los Angeles, CA, later this month, looking for Japanese-speaking girls of any race who are interested in becoming voice actors or singers in Japan.

The first round of auditions will be held on Saturday August 27th at the Los Angeles HORIPRO Music Academy, and the second round will take place the following day, on the 28th. The winner of the auditions will be signed by HORIPRO for a management contract, including a debut as a singer with music label LANTIS, part of the BANDAI music group. The winner will also receive a prize of 1,000,000 yen (approximately USD $12,850). The event will be covered by Japanese media and will involve special industry judges.
