Blu-ray and DVD Releases of GACKT Movies "Bunraku" and "MOON CHILD"

GACKT's Hollywood debut movie "Bunraku" is set for release on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan on February 22nd next year.

"Bunraku" is directed by Guy Moshe, who specifically requested GACKT for the movie, having been impressed by his performance in the drama series "Fuurin kazan". GACKT stars alongside Hollywood actors Josh Hartnett, Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson in this action movie, where a lone drifter and a samurai team up to overcome a common enemy. "Bunraku" will be available on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as a DVD+Blu-ray combi-pack. The movie is already available on Blu-ray and DVD in the US and UK.

Also set for release on February 22nd is a special tenth anniversary Blu-ray edition of "MOON CHILD". Also starring L'Arc~en~Ciel's HYDE, "MOON CHILD" tells the story of a vampire and his close friend as they come to blows with various gangs in a dangerous city. This Blu-ray edition comes with an additional making-of disc, plus other bonus material including a press conference, the premiere event, new interviews, trailers, TV spots and more. It also features English subtitles.
