Boy group MAZZEL released their jazzy debut single "Vivid" last month on BE-U, a new label formed through a partnership between rapper SKY-HI's company BMSG and UNIVERSAL MUSIC. Formed at the end of 2022 and introduced to the world through the YouTube documentary series "MISSIONx2", MAZZEL's line-up features three former BMSG trainees: RAN, KAIRYU and SEITO, as well as five members recruited through a later round of auditions. The group's name combines the meanings of the words "mazel" ("happiness"), "maze" and "zeal".
